Sign designating current status of the Old Naval Hospital Building, 921 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, Washington, DC. In 1903, following a report by the Secretary of the Navy the Hospital was deemed “antiquated and insufficient, and conforms in no respect to the conditions of modern hospital requirements.”
